Apple Cinnamon Oats

Apple Cinnamon Oats

Instructions

Dice up your apple into small squares. Heat a teaspoon of butter in a pan along with half a teaspoon of cane sugar, and half a teaspoon of cinnamon. Add apple squares to the pan, and cook to your liking. Set aside for your toppings. In a medium pot bring your milk and water to a boil, add your oats, and the teaspoon of cinnamon and continue to stir occasionally. turn the burner off once oats have thickened and absorbs majority of the water. Add sugar, butter, and vanilla creamer. Stir until all ingredients are well blended. Transfer your oatmeal into a bowl. Heat a tablespoon of peanut butter in the microwave for 35 seconds. Add your apple squares and drizzle peanut butter. 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups of oats (quick oats)

  • 1 cup of almond milk

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 tablespoon of butter

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of cane sugar

  • 1/3 cup of vanilla creamer

Toppings

  • 1 apple

  • 1 teaspoon of peanut butter

 
Banana-Berry Oats

Banana-Berry Oats

Instructions

Coat a pan with olive oil sprinkle the bottom of the pan with cinnamon and cane sugar (be sure to sprinkle as much as you did the olive oil). Slice banana in half the long way, and place in pan to simmer (this will be a topping). Cook on both sides until they are nicely coated and soft. In a medium pot bring your milk and water to a boil, add your oats, add your (mashed) ripe banana and the teaspoon of cinnamon and continue to stir occasionally. turn the burner off once oats have thickened and absorbs majority of the water. Add sugar, butter, and vanilla creamer. Stir until all ingredients are well blended. Transfer your oatmeal into a bowl. Heat a tablespoon of almond butter in the microwave for 35 seconds. Add your sautéed banana, frozen blueberries, warm almond butter, and honey.
